About the Kasperi Specials S.06 Fold Top

With the S.06 we wanted to create a pack with contrasts that get stronger over time. The natural tan leather darkens over time turning towards an amber-like tone, creating a beautifully patinated look.

Made out of vegetable-tanned bovine leather this is an exceedingly resilient pack. The dense, surface grain of bovine leather is tough. No wonder this stuff has been used for over a century as a protective clothing by racers and motorcyclists. And as body armor since at least the beginning of recorded human history.

The Fold Top is our most popular product and it turns heads wherever we go. As a product that lasts a lifetime, it is an investment that only gets better, more sustainable, and affordable with time. Stylish for city use. Sturdy for forest hiking. Easily big enough for a weekend trip. Compact to carry on as cabin luggage. Its ergonomics are designed to keep it comfortable even after full days of carrying heavier loads. The Specials S.06 is a limited run of the Fold Top, handcrafted in Finland in a stunning color combination, navy and natural tan leather. On this pack, both the body of the pack and the folding part is made from the Italian Puccini tannery's excellent vegetable-tanned bovine leather. The combination creates a sharp backpack. As the natural tan body starts turning towards an amber tone this pack just acquires a rugged yet classy look, that is sure to turn heads.

A detachable computer sleeve is included. The sleeve attaches only at the top to let the bag conform to the shape of your back. It also works as padding when the bag is packed full. The bag has six external attachment points for external gear like camera tripods, fishing rods, or camping gear.

When the product is ready and available for finalization we notify you via email so you can finalize your purchase and we get the product shipped.

Materials

Made from high-quality vegetable-tanned leather. The frame and folding parts are made of Italian Puccini tannery's excellent vegetable-tanned bovine leather. The stainless steel G-buckles and D-rings are custom crafted in Finland and the roller buckles come from Sweden. The steel rivets and the polyester yarn comes from Italy.
