Tailor-made for the active city commuter, this backpack is designed to keep your valuables safe and effortlessly with you. Its slim design stays out of the way when navigating the urban environment. With comfortably wide straps and a flat back, it is a minimalist leather backpack so comfortable that you might forget you are carrying it.
Made from sturdy saddle leather, this pack is built to withstand years of use. Like all truly durable leather goods, the bag and straps will take a bit of time to break in and form, much like good leather shoes form to your feet.
This bag can accommodate laptops up to 15 inches (like the 15” MacBook Pro), your water bottle, lunch box, charger, note-taking kit, and an extra shirt or cardigan if needed.
OBS: We are finally building our own workshop in the town of Hämeenlinna! The first batch includes the detachable felt sleeve on the house! How the pre-order works?
The pre-order requires payment of the full price of the backpack upfront. Flexible payment options may be available depending on your location. You choose the accessories you want from the backpack sets beforehand, and all accessories are shipped together with the backpack.
If you wish to add products to your order before delivery, just leave a note on your order so we know whether to ship separately or together.
Once the product is ready to be shipped, we will notify you via email to confirm your details and proceed with the shipping of your fully-equipped backpack.
Should you need to cancel, a full refund is available before the product is shipped. Once you've received the product, you have 14 days to cancel and ship an unused product back. If you wish to change your order or convert the amount into a Kasperi gift card of equivalent value, please get in touch.

EU
Products are delivered in the European Union via UPS, GLS, and Posti. Options for your area are provided at checkout. Shipping fees are between 20€ and 45€, depending on the size of the package, your location, and chosen delivery options. Delivery times vary between 1-8 business days.

Worldwide (non-EU)
Outside of the EU, products are delivered via Posti, GLS, UPS, and Express Mail Service (EMS). Options for your area are provided at checkout. Shipping fees are between 20€ and 65€, depending on the size of the package, your location, and chosen delivery options. Delivery times vary between 2-21 business days.

Duties and Import fees for non-EU orders:
Customers are responsible for any duties, taxes, or import fees imposed by their country's customs authorities. For deliveries carried out by UPS, which is standard in the UK, UPS handles the collection of these fees.
These charges are separate from the product price and shipping cost. For more information on potential fees, please contact your local customs office.
Finland
Products are delivered via DB Schenker and Matkahuolto to the nearest pickup point of the address provided. In Helsinki, a bicycle courier option and pickup appointments are also available.

FAQ
How should I care for my leather backpack?
You can start using your backpack straight out of the box. Leather works well even in bad weather conditions, and getting wet is fine as long as it is properly cared for. The harder the use, the faster the patina, but that only adds character to the pack.
Treat with wax every 4-6 months or when the leather feels like it's drying. Wipe the leather to clean it. With a cloth, spread a thin layer of wax on the leather. Allow the wax to permeate overnight and then polish the remainders off with a cotton or wool cloth. The scent of tar will fade away in a couple of days; if a lot of wax is applied, this will take longer.
We recommend using natural products like beeswax or natural oils. Synthetic leather protection can block the pores of the leather, reducing its ability to absorb wax and oils, ultimately reducing the lifespan of the backpack.
How long is the break-in period of the leather backpack?
We believe that leather is the best material for backpacks because it conforms to our bodies over time and can last for decades while remaining in good condition.
Like all high-quality leather goods, Kasperi backpacks also have a break-in period. It will take a couple of weeks of active use for the shoulder straps to start forming to your body. If you experience any pressure points, squeeze the straps lightly with your hands from the pressure points to help it form faster.
Closing and opening the G-buckles is also stiff at first but will become fluid as the leather loops soften and form over time.
With proper care and use, these packs develop a unique patina and become more personal by the day.
What about repairs or service?
We believe in the “right to repair.” Every aspect, from structures to material thicknesses, is considered for repairability. Because our bags are designed to last for decades, they will require servicing at some point.
The hardest-wearing parts (i.e., shoulder straps) are made from 3mm leather for longevity, and the whole structure is designed with serviceability in mind.
