The G.02 Korpi Overshirt – A Garment for the pursuit of calm and solitude.
Inspired by the countless weeks we've spent in southern Finland's national parks, the G.02 Korpi Overshirt is a Garment made for the quintessentially Finnish pursuit of the calm and solitude that nature offers. This pursuit is described beautifully by Tove Jansson's character Snufkin in the Moomin series. The ultimate serenity Snufkin has achieved through their nomadic and minimalist life philosophy makes Snufkin like a Finnish quasi-mythological version of the ancient Greek Stoic philosophers or the Buddha himself.
With design and functional cues from traditional flannels and field shirts, the G.02 Korpi Overshirt is designed for the backwoods. The wool fabric is warm and endures, the anti-odor properties of wool shine here keeping the Garment fresh over time. The weight of the fabric makes for an easy-wearing lightweight piece that still keeps you warm and dry. The fit is between slim and regular to keep wind drafts from getting underneath, and the push buttons make adjusting for comfortable temperature effortless and quick. The waxable reinforcement made from recycled cotton polyester keeps your shoulders dry and protects the shirt when wearing a backpack. The elbow patches keep your sleeves hole-free when you crawl in the bush. The buttoned pockets and dedicated pen pocket provide secure storage for your EDC. All in all, this shirt is packed with practical utility, with zero gimmicks.
Whether you use this piece as a mid-layer during the coldest of months or an outer layer in three-season use, it's a functional piece guaranteed to take place as a staple in your wardrobe. A reliable overshirt for life.

About Kasperi Garments
At Kasperi we're passionate about products that are made for life. The nordic functional design heritage has its roots in the efficient use of resources by necessity. Up here in the North, the population was largely self-sufficient until the mid 20th century. Thus materials and usable income were sparse, items were seen as investments and had to have the highest utility and durability.
Today, we look back at those ideals, recognizing them as necessary, albeit for different reasons. Being true to those ideals we define a quality item as a piece with high utility, that is durable and repairable. We pledge to issue garments that are designed and made to high specifications, instead of just releasing new collections all the time.
True future classics are made when items are used long and extensively by their users. True classics are known as Garments.
