The G.03 Telakka is a modern interpretation of the classic French work jacket. As a woolen work jacket with an integrated waxable and weather-resistant wind panel for the chest and neck area. The re-design is inspired by the countless days we've spent fixing boats outdoors in the boatyards (or the Telakka) in springtime.

With design cues from the iconoclastic french chore coat aka the "bleu de travail" this piece is both an ode and an improvement of the classic. If there was a Cannes Film Festival for Garments – the "bleu de travail" would definitely reach for at least the "Un Certain Regard" prize. In our opinion, the “bleu de travail” is one of the most versatile and timeless pieces of clothing ever made. With the G.03 Telakka, we've reimagined this classic staple of the wardrobe for the northern climate.

The nordic spring is a time when the temperatures change often and by a lot. When the air is still and the strong spring sun is shining, it can be hot, but when the wind picks up – the cold can be slicing. In these circumstances, the warmth of wool and wind-resistant panels keep you comfortable while at work – whatever you're building. These qualities will make this one of your wardrobe's most-used pieces.

At Kasperi we're passionate about products that are made for life. The nordic functional design heritage has its roots in the efficient use of resources by necessity. Up here in the North, the population was largely self-sufficient until the mid 20th century. Thus materials and usable income were sparse, items were seen as investments and had to have the highest utility and durability.

Today, we look back at those ideals, recognizing them as necessary, albeit for different reasons. Being true to those ideals we define a quality item as a piece with high utility, that is durable and repairable. We pledge to issue garments that are designed and made to high specifications, instead of just releasing new collections all the time.

Wool repels dirt naturally so this garment will stay fresh with only airing out almost perpetually. Hand-wash in the sink in cool water with wool-specific detergent or Marseille soap avoiding hard rubbing. Rinse, press, and dry flat.

Duties and Import fees for non-EU orders:

Customers are responsible for any duties, taxes, or import fees imposed by their country's customs authorities. For deliveries carried out by UPS which is standard in the UK, UPS handles the collection of these fees.

Finland

Products are delivered via DB Schenker and Matkahuolto to the nearest pickup point of the address provided. In Helsinki, a bicycle courier option and pickup appointments are also available.
